Another Picture

Yep, pretty sure all this kidney business was Benny’s way of preparing us for a baby that looks just like him.  We had our final (it better be!) ultrasound today and his kidneys are fine.  Got some great shots though and the resemblance to us is uncanny.

  1. This is pretty incredible. It’s almost identical. What a whirlwind you have ahead of you! I know that you are getting so close to seeing your little boy and in my heart I know that he will contains parts of Benny, but in his own little way. I just had my daughter two weeks ago. Her name is Madeline Rose (Rose is after my best friend who died in the car accident when I was in high school). That happened 20 years ago and she was only a friend and it was emotional. The birth wasn’t anything like I planned. It was horrible actually and I was having a hard time with it until I read your post about the emotional roller coaster that you are anticipating with the birth of your new little guy and I think that you are possibly the bravest woman I know. It is such an emotional time for any mom, but having gone through what you have gone though and all the of emotions involved in it is almost beyond comprehension. I thought of you often during that week. I know that you are going to have the perfect birth and the joy will be simultaneous with your grief but there will be enormous joy. And oh yeah if we have another one, I want your midwife’s name! :). I’m done with OB’s! Hugs from the other side of MA. ❤ PS. If I could figure out how to post a pic in comments I'd share one of our baby.
