Everything Doesn’t Happen For A Reason

Amazing, perfectly written, it’s like he’s in my head.  Best piece on this I’ve read so far.

  1. Pat Rickman I shed many tears when reading this article. I handled the loss of my mother and 4 sisters and 1 brother better than I handled the death of a beautiful baby boy and the state of a young man in a hospital bed who is basically a vegetable and was a vibrant beautiful person. Yes, I miss my loved ones, but they were older and sickly. I will never understand or be able to handle the death of a young person. And I do believe “Everything Does’t Happen For a Reason” is so true especially when we lose the young ones. I think about all my family that I have lost, but I do not cry as much as when I think about Benny and other young people who have gone from our world way too soon or are laying in hospital beds and are not able to function. I hope this does not upset anyone, but I felt the need to write it. I admire Parker and Sheri so much. Yes, they are grieving for Benny and always will, but they are still wonderful parents to their 2 beautiful children who they can hold in their arms. Love, Pat Rickman

Thanks for reblogging this post, Sheri. I agree with the author of this post. Everything Does Not Happen For A Reason!!! Someone’s personal hell or tragedy should never be viewed or justified by a third-party as an opportunity for growth. Not all words are helpful.
