  1. Amazing you posted this today (well, technically yesterday but up with the baby). I was just thinking about you. I realized you hadn’t posted here in a while and hoped everything was going well with the baby etc. but then I get this update in my inbox today. Today was Aiden’s birthday. He turned four today (the 8th). I always think of Benny whenever he has a milestone and I wonder if he’d be like Aiden, like the same shows, have the same birthday theme etc. Then of course I cried my eyes out but I thought about your little dude a lot today. Then I see this post! I think we share a mommy brain sometimes. :). We definitely share the same nighttime schedule. It’s not your parenting believe me, some babies are just TOUGH. Madeline is up every two hours and that’s on a good night. Aiden is now the age that Darcy was when the accident happened and I have a whole new level of compassion for your family. Today he asked me “Where’s Madeline?!” in a panic because I didn’t have her and daddy didn’t have her (she was asleep early in my room). Reading your post where Darcy asked you that day “Where’s Benny”? I felt that. Crazy thing is you posted this at 11:11. Ever since high school I have always made a wish when I saw the clock say 11:11. I usually make it a general type of thing but ever since I heard about Benny, I have always added onto my wish at the end that you get to hold your baby boy again one day. ❤

    1. I was going to message you today because I opened up Facebook and the first thing that I saw was Aiden’s smiling face and that it was his birthday and I was just floored. What are the chances?!?! Fletch actually slept through the night for the first time EVER on Weds. I think it only happened because he’s growing. He was up to his old tricks the next night. It’s just hard having a child that’s so inconsistent. I can’t believe Madeline is up so much too! WTH! It’s funny that you say that about 11:11 because I’m the same way!!

I was snooping on your FB today and oh my goodness the photos!! You are incredibly talented! I love the newborn shots, just so amazing!

      1. Oh my gosh, thank you so much. I didn’t really get serious about photography until she was born. Hers was my first newborn shoot and in hindsight I mostly did everything wrong lol but I had a few decent ones I was able to salvage. I just did my first paid lifestyle session this past weekend. If I would have known then what I do now, I would have loved to have offered to do Fletchers pictures (for free obviously ). I almost did offer, but was afraid I didn’t know what I was doing and I would mess it up. 😦 Maybe some time this summer I could do a family session for you guys? I would be honored. As far as sleep inconsistencies go, it was like this for two years with Aiden and so far almost a year with her so I’ve just learned that this is just how it’s going to be and it’s rough! She slept 6 hours in a row the night before last and up every hour last night. Welcome to my world lol. Crazy you saw Aiden as your first thing on FB. Maybe our little dudes were best buds in a past life. 🙂 Or maybe your little dude brought us together for a reason. Oh and P.S. I just assisted on my first newborn studio session and the photographer was telling me about a local photographer in Worcester she works with called Pebbles and Polka Dots Photography. I hadn’t heard of her before that. When I was checking out your FB page I saw you shared a contest to win a photo session with her. Such a small world. Man if only this was 9 months ago I bet I could have helped you out. :-/.
