  1. This is a great one. I got that a lot too and could only think: what was the reason for HIM? People seemed to think he was born for some “lesson” for me to learn, but that makes his birth and death about ME and devalues his life. If that makes sense…

    1. This is one of those platitudes that made my skin crawl. I will never believe as long as I live that there is a reason that a child should die. I don’t care if it turns into positive things down the road. Nothing is more positive than getting to watch your child grow up.
